Managing Director & Founder
Larry is a founder and Managing Director of CSG. Prior to CSG, Larry built businesses from the ground up and brings an operator’s perspective to the M&A industry. He was the co-founder of two growth companies which he developed and sold. The first, a $35 million manufacturing company, was sold to Jaclyn, Inc (AMEX:JLN) in 1999. His second company, Caring Concepts, a specialty health care products company, was sold to a consortium of venture capital firms in 1998.
He is actively involved in all aspects of CSG’s investment banking activities including mergers and acquisitions, capital advisory services, and ESOPs. He is an expert in all levels of the capital structure including raising senior, mezzanine, and private equity capital. Using his expertise in structuring leveraged ESOP deals and access to the capital markets, he has completed numerous owner liquidity transactions. He has helped many companies finance intergenerational stock transfers and address the unique financing challenges of family owned businesses.
Larry is a member of the ESOP Association, has served on its Finance Committee, and is a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership. He received his BA in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and a MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
